Mostly to give us an excuse to reach out to our customers.
There are some other reasons too:
First, we wanted to add a new business partner. In doing so it was easier to create a new partnership under a new name.
Secondly, we wanted to get out from under the name confusion between “Aptus Computers” and “Aptus Hosting.” They have always been two separate companies however the common name lead people to believe that they were one.
Third, we wanted a new name to better reflect that we aren’t just a hosting company. We offer other services that are web/Internet related and the name “Burning Diode” gives us flexibility in our brand and services.
